The Mysterious Carton

A Dozen Dino's

Isaac found a carton in the fridge one day. He thought it had eggs, but it was strange in a way. The eggs were tiny, not like the rest. He wondered if they were part of a test.
1
Isaac took the carton to his room with care. He opened it up and gave a big stare. The eggs had colors, blue, green, and red. Isaac thought, 'Are these real or just in my head?'
2
He made a warm spot with a space heater's glow. Used a cardboard box and foil, just so. He placed the eggs gently, one by one. And waited to see, this could be fun!
3
One egg started shaking, then it cracked. Isaac's heart raced, he was taken aback. Out popped a head, tiny and green. The cutest little dino he had ever seen!
4
One by one, the eggs did hatch. Twelve tiny dinos, a perfect match. Isaac smiled and whispered, 'Hello.' He knew no one else could ever know.
5
Isaac made a plan to keep them hidden. From Mama and Daddy, they must be ridden. He built a small home under his bed. 'This is our secret,' he quietly said.
6
The dinos were playful, they loved to roam. They made tiny messes all over his home. Isaac would laugh and clean up the mess. He loved them dearly, he had to confess.
7
One morning at school, a dino snuck in. It caused a commotion, much to his chagrin. Isaac quickly hid it in his backpack tight. 'Stay hidden,' he whispered, 'Just for the night.'
8
The dinos were helpful, they did little chores. They cleaned up his room and even the floors. Isaac was grateful, they were his team. Together they made the perfect dream.
9
Mama noticed things were not quite right. She wondered what Isaac did at night. She peeked in his room, saw a tail so small. 'What is that?' she thought, 'I must know all.'
10
Isaac knew it was time to tell the truth. He gathered the dinos, each one aloof. 'Mama, Daddy, I have something to share.' Out came the dinos, with a little flair.
11
Mama and Daddy were shocked, but they smiled. They saw the dinos, each one so wild. 'We'll keep them safe,' Mama said with glee. 'But you must promise to keep them with me.'
12
The family had fun with their dino friends. They went on adventures, the fun never ends. To the park, the beach, and even the zoo. The little dinos brought joy, it's true.
13
One day a dino brought Isaac a gift. A shiny pebble, it gave him a lift. He knew they loved him, just as he did. Together they shared, nothing was hid.
14
The dinos grew bigger, day by day. Isaac knew they couldn't always stay. But he cherished the moments, each and every one. His time with the dinos was filled with fun.
15
Isaac learned so much from his tiny friends. Love, care, and joy that never ends. Though they had to leave, he knew deep inside. The memories of dinos would always reside.
