Starry Night
Cooper's lesson on Faith
One night under skies so great, Daddy and Cooper stayed up late. They gazed at stars, bright and high, A canvas spread across the sky.
1
Cooper blinked, his eyes wide, 'Who puts the stars up there?' he sighed. Daddy smiled, took a breath, Ready to explain what faith bequeath.
2
'Faith,' said Daddy, 'is belief, In things we can't see, like a leaf Carried by wind, unseen but there, Like love, it floats in open air.'
3
'Some believe in a higher power, Guiding us every hour. Like stars guiding sailors at sea, It's there for you and me.'
4
Cooper nestled closer, feeling snug, Understanding faith was like a hug. Invisible, yet felt deep inside, A comfort that always resides.
5
'But how do we know it's all true?' Cooper asked, feeling a bit blue. Daddy said, 'Faith is trust, my dear, In goodness, we find near.'
6
'The most beautiful things in life, Are not seen but felt,' said Daddy with a smile. 'Like love, hope, and faith so bright, We feel them, like stars in the night.'
7
So under the stars, they found a way, To see faith in a new light that day. With hearts full and eyes aglow, They felt the love that faith bestows.
