Daddy’s Healing Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Riya. She lived with her mommy, Sanju, and her daddy, Chakku. One day, Chakku had to go to the hospital for a special shoulder surgery. Riya was curious and asked, 'Why, Mommy?' Sanju explained that Daddy's shoulder needed fixing so he could play again.

After the surgery, Chakku came home with a sling on his left shoulder. Riya thought it looked like a superhero cape! Sanju told Riya that the sling would help Daddy’s shoulder heal. Riya nodded and promised to be gentle with Daddy. She was excited to help him get better.

For the next few weeks, Riya noticed Daddy resting a lot. Sanju explained that Daddy needed quiet time to heal. Riya missed playing with Daddy, but she understood. She would sit quietly beside him and read her picture books. Riya learned that being patient was important.

Riya wanted to help Daddy feel better. She decided to bring him snacks and water. Sanju showed Riya how to gently help Daddy with his sling. Riya felt proud to be a good helper. Daddy smiled and said, 'Thank you, Riya!'

Every day, Riya asked, 'How many days until Daddy is better?' Sanju made a special calendar for Riya to count down the days. Riya loved marking each day with a bright sticker. She knew that soon Daddy would be strong again. The countdown made waiting fun!

After six weeks, it was time for Chakku to start physical therapy. Riya learned that therapy would help Daddy’s shoulder become strong again. She cheered for Daddy as he did his exercises. Riya was happy to see Daddy working hard. She knew he was getting better each day.

One morning, Chakku had a surprise for Riya. He showed her how he could move his shoulder again! Riya clapped her hands with joy. She knew that soon they could play together like before. Daddy said, 'Thank you for being so patient, Riya!'

Finally, the day came when Chakku was all healed. Riya and Daddy went to the park to play. They laughed and ran around, having so much fun. Riya learned that giving Daddy time to heal was important. And now, they could enjoy every moment together.
