Chapter 1: Excitement in the Air
Ely lost his tree
Ely was a little boy who loved Christmas. The holiday season was just around the corner, and Ely could feel the excitement in the air. He couldn't wait to decorate his Christmas tree and spend time with his family.
1
Alys, a little girl who lived nearby, was feeling jealous of Ely. She saw how happy he was, and she wanted to feel the same joy. But instead of sharing in the happiness, jealousy filled her heart.
2
One day, when Ely was away, Alys came up with a mischievous plan. She decided to steal Ely's Christmas tree. She thought that if she had the tree, she would be as happy as Ely.
3
Under the cover of darkness, Alys sneaked into Ely's yard and carefully took his Christmas tree. She tiptoed away, hoping that no one would notice the missing tree.
4
When Ely returned home and saw his empty yard, his heart sank. He couldn't understand why someone would take his beloved Christmas tree. Ely felt sad and confused.
5
As Ely looked around his yard, he noticed a small note on the ground. It was from Alys, confessing that she had taken his tree out of jealousy. Ely was surprised to learn that it was Alys who had done such a thing.
6
Instead of getting angry, Ely decided to forgive Alys. He understood that jealousy can make people do foolish things. Ely wanted to help Alys find her own happiness without hurting others.
7
Ely and Alys became friends. They searched together for a new Christmas tree and found a beautiful one. They decorated it with love and joy, realizing that true happiness comes from sharing and caring for each other.
