Meeting Griffin
Extra Chromie Homie M-S
In a small town, happy and bright, lived Griffin, a boy full of light. He was four, with a heart so kind, and a special gift that made him shine. Griffin had Down syndrome, you see, but that didn't stop him from being free. He loved to play and laugh all day, with his friends in every way. Memaw, his grandma, was always near, filling his days with love and cheer.

Memaw told stories, magical and grand, about far-off places and enchanted lands. Griffin would listen with eyes so wide, imagining adventures far and wide. Memaw said, 'Griffin, you're special, you know, with a heart that makes love grow.' Griffin smiled and hugged her tight, feeling her warmth and pure delight. Loki, the chihuahua, would bark and play, making Griffin's day bright and gay.
2
Ruston, the boy next door, was ten, a brave young lad with many friends. He loved to help Griffin learn and play, teaching him new things every day. 'M is for Magic,' Ruston would say, 'and N is for Night, where stars sway.' Griffin loved learning letters so bright, with Ruston guiding him with delight. Together they'd explore, laugh, and share, showing that friendship is everywhere.

Mom was always there with a smile, making every moment worthwhile. She'd read books and sing sweet songs, teaching Griffin right from wrong. 'O is for Ocean,' Mom would say, 'where dolphins and fish love to play.' Griffin would giggle and clap his hands, dreaming of far-off ocean lands. With Mom's love, he felt so strong, knowing with her, he belonged.
4
Jackie, a little girl so sweet, loved to dance on tiny feet. She and Griffin would twirl and spin, laughing together with joyful grins. 'P is for Play,' Jackie would cheer, 'and Q is for Quiet, when friends are near.' They'd play with Loki and Shuga too, making memories, so fresh and new. Griffin felt happy, loved, and free, with friends like Jackie, full of glee.
5
Shuga, the Maltese, small and white, loved to perform tricks, a funny sight. 'R is for Rainbow,' Griffin would say, 'and S is for Sun, that brightens our day.' Shuga would bark and wag her tail, making Griffin laugh without fail. They'd chase each other around the yard, playing together, happy and charmed. Griffin knew, with Shuga near, every moment was full of cheer.

One sunny day, the friends gathered 'round, with laughter and joy, a happy sound. They played games and sang sweet songs, feeling that nothing could go wrong. Griffin felt special, loved, and bright, with friends who made his world just right. They learned new letters, M to S, sharing moments of pure happiness. With Memaw, Mom, and friends so dear, Griffin's heart was full of cheer.

As the sun set, the day came to an end, Griffin hugged each dear friend. 'Thank you for the love you show, and for helping me learn and grow.' Memaw smiled and kissed his cheek, 'You're our star, unique and sweet.' Griffin's heart was full of love, shining bright like stars above. With friends and family by his side, Griffin's world was pure joy and pride.
