The Arrival
Granny's garden
Alice was so excited to visit her grandmother in the village. Granny's house was small but cozy, with a large garden behind it. Alice couldn't wait to explore the garden. She had heard about the beautiful trees and the stream that flowed at the back. As soon as she arrived, Granny welcomed her with a warm hug and a big smile.

The next morning, Alice woke up early to explore the garden. She saw deciduous and fruit trees, each one more beautiful than the last. She heard birds chirping and saw a rabbit hopping by. Alice followed the sound of the stream and found it sparkling in the sunlight. She felt like she was in a magical place.

As Alice wandered further, she met a friendly hedgehog who was looking for food. She also saw a squirrel gathering nuts and a rabbit munching on some grass. Alice sat down quietly and watched them, not wanting to scare them away. She felt so happy to be surrounded by her new animal friends. Granny told her that the garden was a safe home for them.

One day, Granny had a special surprise for Alice. She showed Alice how to plant a tree in the garden. Alice was thrilled to help and carefully placed the young tree into the ground. Granny explained that the tree would grow big and strong, just like Alice. Alice felt proud and promised to visit often to see how her tree was doing.
