A Day at Daycare

Leo's Rollercoaster

Leo held his mom's hand tightly as they walked into the daycare. He felt a bit sad and didn't want to let her go. 'I'll be back soon,' she promised with a smile. Leo watched her leave, feeling a little tear in his eye. But then he saw his friends Arlo and Evie waving at him.

Leo quickly forgot his sadness as he joined Arlo and Evie. They built a tall tower with colorful blocks. Leo laughed when the tower fell down, and they all started again. They played pretend, pretending to be superheroes saving the day. Leo felt happy and full of energy.

Later, Leo wanted to play with the big red truck, but Arlo was using it. Leo felt grumpy and crossed his arms. 'It's my turn!' he said loudly. The teacher came over and helped them take turns. Leo learned that sharing can be hard, but it's important.

After a busy day of playing, Leo felt very tired. He lay down on the soft carpet and closed his eyes for a nap. When he woke up, his mom was there to pick him up. Leo hugged her tightly and told her about his day. He was happy to go home but excited to come back tomorrow.
