The Blue Bike
Lily learing how to ride a blue bike
Lily was very excited. She had a new blue bike. It was shiny and beautiful. She couldn't wait to learn how to ride it. Her dad promised to teach her.

Dad took Lily to the park. He held the bike steady while Lily climbed on. She wobbled a bit but kept her balance. 'You can do it, Lily!' Dad encouraged. Lily felt determined.

As Lily pedaled, she lost control. She fell and scratched her knees. Tears welled up in her eyes. Dad quickly came to her side. 'It's okay, Lily. Everyone falls sometimes,' he said.

Mum saw what happened and hurried over. She gently brushed Lily's hair. 'You’re so brave, Lily,' Mum said. She cleaned Lily's scraped knees. Lily felt better with Mum's comforting words.

Lily didn't want to give up. She got back on the bike. Dad held the bike steady again. This time, Lily felt more confident. She pedaled slowly and carefully.

Lily managed to ride a short distance. 'You're doing great!' Dad cheered. Lily smiled brightly. She felt proud of herself. Each time she tried, she got a little better.

After a few more tries, Lily was riding on her own. She couldn't believe it! Mum and Dad cheered loudly. Lily was so happy. She loved her blue bike even more.

Lily rode her bike every day. She explored the park and made new friends. She felt free and joyful. Mum and Dad were very proud of her. Lily knew she could achieve anything with practice and courage.
