Lily the Brave Bunny

Lily, the white bunny, wore her blue dress and blue bow as she hopped to school. It was the first day of her new grade, and she felt a little nervous. She didn't know many of her classmates, and everything seemed so different. As she entered the classroom, she saw Mrs. Hoot, the owl teacher in a green dress, smiling warmly. But Lily still felt unsure about the new subjects, especially phonics.

In class, Mrs. Hoot introduced the first phonics lesson. Lily found it difficult to keep up with the sounds and letters. She watched as her classmates raised their hands confidently. Her friend Daisy, the brown bunny in a purple dress, seemed to understand everything. Lily felt a little sad and worried she might not catch up.

During recess, Daisy noticed Lily looking down. She hopped over and gave her a big hug. 'Don't worry, Lily,' Daisy said kindly. 'We can practice together after school!' Lily felt a little better knowing she had a friend to help her. She decided to be brave and try her best.

After school, Lily and Daisy practiced phonics in the garden. Mrs. Hoot even gave them some fun games to play with sounds and letters. Slowly, Lily started to understand and feel more confident. The next day in class, she raised her hand and answered a question correctly. Mrs. Hoot smiled and said, 'Great job, Lily!' Lily realized that with a little help and bravery, she could overcome any challenge.
