Min's Love for Drawing
Little Dream of Min
Min loved drawing pictures every day. She liked to draw big trees and small houses. Her drawings made her feel happy and free. Sometimes, she worried that her art was not good enough.

In a tiny room so bright,
Pencils, colors—left and right.
Min, a girl with dreams so tall,
Draws her wishes on the wall.
She longs to paint with skill so grand,
A famous artist across the land.

Each night before she goes to bed,
She gazes at the stars overhead.
She whispers wishes, soft and true,
Hoping they will all come through.
But one bright night, a star shone back,
Glowing in the sky so black.
“Tell me, child, what do you see?
Do you have a dream like me?”
Min sat up, her eyes open wide,
“My dream is big, I cannot hide!
I wish to paint with skill so bright,
To be an artist, pure delight!”
“Then close your eyes and count to three,
A special gift I’ll let you see!”

Min shut her eyes and felt so light,
Her heart was dancing with delight.
She opened them—what did she see?
No magic spell, no change, just… me!
“Maybe it was just pretend,”
She sighed and let the night-time end.
