A Dragon's Home
Marso
In a cozy nook, under the warm sun's look, lived Mars, a dragon, not from any book. His eyes like jewels, a fiery gaze, in his little home, he spent his days. But dreams he had, of places far, beyond the hills, beneath the stars.
1
One night, Mars dreamed of a lady fair, with long black hair, beyond compare. She called his name, with love so true, 'Come find me, Mars, I wait for you.' With morning light, his heart set right, Mars knew he had to take the flight.
2
With a leap and a bound, Mars left the ground, to the world beyond, he was homeward bound. Over hills, through the trees, he flew with ease, guided by the whisper of the gentle breeze. 'Anna waits,' the wind seemed to say, 'Hurry, Mars, you're on your way.'
3
But journeys long, they test the heart, and Mars soon found the hardest part. A river wide, with waters deep, stood in his path, a challenge steep. Yet with a leap, and courage grand, Mars crossed the river, to the far-off land.
4
In the woods, with night near, Mars found a rabbit, caught in fear. 'Please help me,' it said, 'I'm lost, you see,' Mars knew then, what he must be. A friend, a guide, with gentle pride, together they'd continue the ride.
5
The city's lights, they shone so bright, guiding Mars through the darkest night. With rabbit friend by his side, through the streets, they did glide. 'Anna's near,' Mars felt it true, his heart beat fast, as excitement grew.
6
At a park, under a tree, stood Anna, as lovely as could be. Mars rushed forward, with joy so rare, into the arms of the lady fair. 'My friend, my dragon,' Anna said, 'Together, we'll make a life ahead.'
7
Mars and Anna, side by side, with hearts open, and nothing to hide. The rabbit found its way back home, but Mars knew he'd no longer roam. For in Anna's care, love did abound, and in her, a true home he'd found.
