Poppy lived with her mum and dad in a beautiful house. The house had a lovely view of the hills. Every morning, Poppy would wake up to the sound of birds singing. Her mum would make delicious pancakes for breakfast. Dad would always have a funny joke to share. Poppy loved playing in the garden with her friends. Life was full of joy and laughter for Poppy.

One day, something very sad happened. Poppy's mum and dad went on a trip and never came back. They had an accident and passed away. Poppy felt very sad and lonely.
