Sophia woke up to a bright and sunny day. She was very excited because today was her swimming day! She quickly put on her swimsuit and grabbed her towel. Her mom packed a picnic basket, and they headed to the pool.

A Sunny Day at the Pool

At the pool, Sophia met her swimming instructor, Mr. Ben. He was very kind and patient. Mr. Ben showed Sophia how to float on her back. She felt a bit scared at first but soon started to enjoy it.

Learning to Swim

While practicing, Sophia met another girl named Lily. They decided to play together in the shallow end of the pool. They laughed and splashed water at each other. Sophia was happy to have made a new friend.

Making New Friends

After swimming, Sophia and her mom enjoyed a lovely picnic by the pool. They had sandwiches, fruit, and juice. Sophia couldn't stop talking about her new friend and how much fun she had. It was a day she would always remember.
