Myra loved words, she thought they were fun. She saw them when she walked and saw them when she'd run. She'd see words everywhere she would look and even collected hundreds of books.

Words in the sky, words on the ground. Myra saw words, all around. She saw them in clouds, and even in trees. Words were her friends, they made her feel free.

One day at school, a contest was near. A spelling bee, Myra had no fear. She signed up with joy, ready to spell. She knew with her words, she'd do very well.

It was time for a break, Myra took a rest. She felt so happy, she was doing her best. But some kids came by, with a plan so sly. They gave wrong directions, and Myra said bye.

Myra felt lost, she didn't know where. But she loved words, so she had no fear. She read the signs, and found her way. Back to the bee, she would not sway.

Myra returned, just in time. She felt so brave, ready to climb. The stage was set, she took her place. Words in her heart, she kept her pace.

The final round, it was her turn. Myra felt calm, she had words to burn. She spelled each one, with a steady voice. Myra's love for words, made her rejoice.
