The Pumpkin Farm

The Daisy and Duke Adventures

Daisy and Duke loved to play all day, On a pumpkin farm where they would stay. They'd chase each other through fields so wide, With tails wagging, filled with pride. The sun was bright, the sky so blue, Their friendship strong, their hearts so true.
1
One day they wandered into the corn, And got lost among the rows so worn. They tumbled and rolled, causing quite the scene, Laughing together, feeling so keen. But soon they realized they'd gone astray, And had to find their way back that day.
2
Into the chicken coop they did sneak, Feathers flying, the chickens did squeak! Duke barked with joy, Daisy did prance, Causing all the chickens to dance. Mister Knox heard the clucks and cries, And shook his head in great surprise.
3
In the pumpkin patch, they found delight, Rolling in the leaves, what a sight! Pumpkins large and pumpkins small, They played around them, having a ball. River the goat watched from afar, Worrying about their playful spar.
4
When the day grew hot, they found a creek, Splashing and swimming, feeling unique. They cooled their paws and wagged their tails, As the gentle breeze filled their sails. River joined in, with a cautious leap, While Mister Knox, from the bank, did peep.
5
Mister Knox watched their antics with a smile, Though he worried about them all the while. He knew the farm was their playground wide, But sometimes they gave him quite a ride. He'd chuckle and sigh, shaking his head, As they disappeared, full of life and dread.
6
River the goat, with her chipped horn, Was nervous of the dogs from dusk till morn. She'd cry and sigh, trying to keep them near, But Daisy and Duke had no fear. They'd return to her side with a friendly nudge, Making her smile, giving her a gentle budge.
7
The farm was full of paths to explore, With secrets and wonders behind each door. Daisy and Duke, with River in tow, Would wander for hours, taking it slow. Their adventures were grand, their friendship sweet, On this picturesque farm, their lives complete.
