The Little Lost Lamb

Lily was a little lamb who loved to play in the green meadows with her friends. Every day, she ran, jumped, and chased butterflies happily. One bright afternoon, she saw a shiny red flower far away at the edge of the field. Curious and excited, she decided to run towards it without thinking twice.

Lily sprinted towards the red flower, calling out, 'I’ll be right back!' as she left her friends behind. The flower seemed to move further away as she got closer. Soon, she looked around and realized that the field looked different and the trees were much taller. She felt a little scared because she had wandered too far from home.

Lily began to cry softly as she realized she was lost. 'Shepherd! Where are you?' she called, her voice trembling with fear. Just then, a kind and familiar voice answered her call from afar. The Good Shepherd reached her quickly, wrapping her in a warm embrace and assuring her that she was safe.

Lily cuddled close to the Shepherd, feeling loved and protected. Together, they returned to the green meadow where all her friends cheered her arrival. The Shepherd smiled and told her that he would always take care of his little lamb. From that day on, Lily knew that no matter how far she wandered, she would always have a safe way home.
