The New House
The Magical Garden
Wojtek sighed as he looked at the unfamiliar walls of his new bedroom. Moving to a new town wasn't easy, especially when you're eight years old. He missed his old friends and the familiar streets of his hometown.

The next morning, Wojtek wandered into the overgrown backyard. Behind a row of bushes, he discovered an old wooden gate covered in ivy. When he pushed it open, he gasped at what he saw.
2
A forgotten garden lay before him, wild but somehow magical. Wojtek spent the afternoon clearing weeds and planting seeds he found in a rusty tin. He went to bed tired but happy for the first time since moving.
3
When Wojtek returned to the garden the next morning, he couldn't believe his eyes. The seeds he had planted yesterday were already sprouting! Tiny green shoots reached toward the sun where there had been only soil before.
4
"Well, good morning to you too!" chirped a tiny voice. Wojtek spun around, looking for who had spoken. "Down here, silly!" said the voice, and Wojtek realized it was coming from a cheerful yellow daisy.
5
Soon Wojtek was introduced to all the garden residents. The roses were elegant and wise, the sunflowers told funny jokes, and the tiny violets whispered secrets. The garden became Wojtek's special place where he was never alone.
6
Every day after school, Wojtek rushed to the garden with stories to share. The flowers listened to his troubles and celebrated his victories. They taught him about patience as they grew and resilience when facing storms.
7
Summer brought hot days with no rain. The flowers began to droop, their voices growing fainter. "We need water," whispered Rose weakly, her petals starting to curl.
8
Wojtek worked tirelessly, carrying buckets of water from the house. He built small shade covers for the most delicate plants. His parents wondered why he was so determined to save what they saw as just an old garden.
9
"We need to do a rain dance," suggested an old sunflower. That evening, Wojtek danced among the flowers, spinning and jumping under the moonlight. To his amazement, clouds gathered and gentle rain began to fall.
10
As the garden flourished again, Wojtek finally made a friend at school named Lily. After weeks of friendship, he decided to share his secret. "Do you believe in magic?" he asked as he led her toward the wooden gate.
11
To Wojtek's delight, Lily could hear the flowers too! "The garden chooses who can hear its magic," explained Rose with a wink. And so the magical garden grew, just like the friendship between two children who believed in everyday wonders.
