What's That Smell?

Big, the curious dog was getting his beauty sleep. When suddenly, he woke up to a strange smell. It was a smell he had never sniffed before. Big's curiosity was awakened, and his ears perked straight up. He turned his head sideways for a moment and decided to find out what the smell was.

Big started by sniffing around his bed, but the smell wasn't there. All he could find was his chewed-up tennis ball and favorite blanket. He thought let's go to the kitchen, where he usually found tasty treats, he could steal off the dining room table. Well, no luck for Big because the smell wasn't coming from there either. So Big knew he had to keep searching so he continued on the quest to find this strange smell.

Big's nose led him to the living room. There, he found his favorite red bandana. The strange smell was stronger here. Big realized the smell might be coming from outside. With excitement, he headed towards the door.

Big stepped outside and followed the smell to the garden. He found a patch of newly planted flowers. The smell was coming from them! Big wagged his tail happily. He had solved the mystery and discovered a beautiful new scent.
