A Berry Picnic To celebrate, Benny and Bella had a berry picnic. They sat under a big tree and shared the bananas, blueberries, and berry juice. While they ate, they talked and laughed, happy to be friends. Benny's Brave Return As the sun set, Benny knew it was time to go home. "Goodbye, Bella! See you soon!" Benny waved as he walked back through the forest. He felt proud of his adventure and looked forward to the next fun day. (page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Her body is always ready for the next adventure!
