That is why we must be careful.” Vika looked at the volcano near her village. Sometimes she saw smoke. “When the volcano erupts, the hot gas and lava push through a hole on top. This hole is called a crater,” Grandma explained. Vika listened. Grandma was very good at explaining things! “Did you see a volcano erupt, Grandma?” Vika asked. “Yes,” Grandma said. “When I was little, the volcano near our village erupted.” “What did you do?” Vika asked. “We stayed inside and closed all the windows and doors. But, as the fog began to lift slowly, in front of himself Dookie noticed a dozen of mole hole, each with a mole on the top, looking at Dookie with defiance 11. Ezra, Leo, Mummy, Daddy, Moo and Pops went to Studland beach in Dorset, England. They could see Old Harry Rock in the background., Ezra was digging in the sand when he suddenly said “Daddy there is something really hard in here”. Daddy dug and dug and suddenly they found black volcanic rocks from a million years ago. Ezra collected two pink buckets of volcanic rocks. When they took them home Ezra put them next to his bed. While he slept they started to glow. The next morning they were glowing so brightly. The whole family held hands and rubbed the stones. Suddenly they were taken back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The dinosaurs were friendly. Ezra rode with Mummy on the back of a Brachiosaurus, Leo rode with Daddy on the back of a Triceratoos, and Moo and Pops each rode on Stegosaurus. The played all kinds of games with the dinosaurs. They helped one dinosaur to hatch from an egg. They also helped to feed a baby dinosaur. As it got dark it was time to go home. The all held hands and rubbished the black volcanic rocks again and were transported back in time to day.
