Lizzie's morning starts with frustration as she can't find her favorite shirt; her sister is wearing it. Suppressing her anger, she changes and heads downstairs, only for the cat to spill her juice. Again, she bottles up her emotions and changes. Missing her bus adds to her day's mishaps. At school, her friends ignore her, she forgets her homework, and her hat gets tossed in mud. Each incident fuels her anger. Finally, at home, she explodes when she finds her brother playing her new CD, yelling and throwing it on the floor.

They had to till the soil to a depth of about 10 inches,add fertilizer to enrich the soil, Level the garden bed, and Water the soil well and let it settle for a few days. 4. A few days passed and John Jr and Vasi were ready to plant. They poked holes for the seeds, then placed seeds and covered dirt over seeds. After planting , they gave a nice watering to their garden. 5. John Jr and Vasi looked after and watered their garden daily. A few weeks went by and there was some buds sprouting. A few more weeks later there was fruit and vegetables starting to form. 6.. As summer was closing in, the fruit and veggies were ripe and in abundance. John Jr and Vasi went out to the garden and picked all the fruits and vegetables. There was so much that they gave Granny and a few neighbors some of their harvest. It’s nice to meet new and different people. I think he liked meeting me, too!” “Well, Avi, Omar is Palestinian from Gaza and he will be crossing into Israel each day from now on to help with building the new factory. And each night he will go back to Gaza to be with his family. It’s a long day for Omar so perhaps you should let him focus on his work.” “I will aba, but I’m just so curious. He’s my new friend. If I see him when I come visit I’ll only talk to him a little bit.”

ZURI: (happily) Mom, I can't wait to water the garden today! KANI: (smiling) That's wonderful, Zuri! It's great to see you so eager to help. Let's get your watering can and get your clothes ready.
