In a strange little village, there lived a man named Mr. Blue. He had a very peculiar habit—he loved water! Every day, he talked to his glass of water, his house had pipes everywhere that dripped water from the ceiling, and even his clothes were always wet! But there was one big problem… Mr. Blue loved water, but rain hated him! Every time it started to rain, instead of enjoying it, the moment a raindrop touched his head, he would start sneezing! "Achooooo!" "Achooooo!" His sneezes were so powerful that his hat would fly off and travel around the entire village! One time, his hat landed on the butcher’s cow, and the poor cow was so surprised that it didn’t say "Moooo" for three whole days! One day, Mr. Blue decided to solve his problem. He went to the wise old man who lived under a talking tree. The wise man said: "Your problem is that rain isn’t your friend yet! You need to apologize to it." Mr. Blue was confused. "But the rain is always making me wet!" The wise man laughed and said: "Well, you’re always drinking it!" Mr. Blue realized that rain was upset with him! So one day, when it started raining, he stood outside and said: "Dear Rain! I love water, but I didn’t know you were upset with me. Please be my friend!" Rain thought for a moment… and then gently kissed Mr. Blue with a soft raindrop! From that day on, whenever it rained, Mr. Blue didn’t sneeze anymore. Instead, he ran outside, danced in the rain, and twirled his umbrella like a butterfly! And from that day forward, everyone in the village called him: "Mr. Rain-Lover!"

Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. First and final pages should introduce students to New Brunswick and the idea that NB and people have changed over time. Each page should then introduce a group that has immigrated to NB. It should include a brief, child friendly history(year/period of time), a picture, a symbol, specific of where the group came from and where they arrived and other simple information. This information should be historically accurate and should include indigenous place names as often as possible. The groups included in this book should be Indigenous Peoples, French Settlers, British Loyalists, Irish Immigrants, Scottish Immigrants, Other European Immigrants, African Canadians, Asian immigrants, Immigrants from the Middle East, Immigrants from Latin America.

Once upon a time, in a town so neat, Three little girls, oh so sweet. Claire, Grace, and Lily too, Met at Guidepost Montessori, where they grew. In Nido, they learned to crawl, With tiny steps, they'd never fall. With gentle hands and songs so bright, Their guides made everything feel right. "Claire, Grace, Lily," guides would say, "Curiosity will light your way." With every hug and every cheer, They felt so safe, with nothing to fear. In Toddler's room, with tools so grand, They learned together, hand in hand. Claire built towers reaching high, Grace sorted beads, counting by. Lily poured water with careful grace, A smile lighting up her face. "Look at us," they'd say with glee, "We're growing up, just wait and see!" In Children's House, more fun was found, With books and nature all around. They read and wrote, and counted too, Exploring worlds so fresh and new. Miss Rebekah taught Claire math so grand, With challenging work and a trinomial cube in hand. Miss Cassandra lent her a sweater so snug, A gesture of kindness, like a warm hug. "Claire, Grace, Lily," guides would sing, "You can do most anything. With your friends right by your side, The world is wide, your hearts are wide."
