Benny the bunny loved playing in the meadow with his bright red balloon. He would toss it in the air, chase it through the grass, and watch it float above the flowers. But one windy afternoon, a big gust carried Benny’s balloon high into the sky and far, far away. “Oh no! My balloon!” Benny cried, hopping after it. He searched near the big oak tree, around the sparkling pond, and even under the berry bushes, but the balloon was nowhere to be found. Just as he was about to give up, his friend Mia the mouse scurried over. “What’s wrong, Benny?” she asked. “My balloon is gone,” Benny sighed. “I’ll never find it.” Mia thought for a moment and then squeaked, “Let’s look together!” So Benny and Mia searched side by side. Along the way, they met Ollie the owl. “I saw something red floating toward the hill,” Ollie hooted. “Maybe that’s your balloon!” Benny’s ears perked up. “Come on, let’s go!” They ran toward the hill and found Finn the fox watching something bob in the branches of a tall tree. “Is that your balloon?” Finn asked, pointing with his fluffy tail. Benny’s eyes lit up. “It is!” But the tree was too tall for Benny, Mia, or Finn to climb. Just then, Ollie flapped his strong wings and flew up to the highest branch. Carefully, he nudged the balloon free, and it floated gently down into Benny’s paws. “Thank you, everyone!” Benny beamed. “I thought I lost my balloon, but I found something even better—friends who help each other!” Mia, Ollie, and Finn all smiled. John Jr's Mom sat down and said that she would explain hope to them. 2. John Jr's mom said hope was a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. She said it is when we really want something to happen. She said we cherish our desires with an expectation in order to have hope. 3. John Jr's Mom urged John Jr and Hopsi to think about the future and to make plans. She said that envisioning a brighter or better future would allow John Jr and Hopsi to stay optimistic. 4. John Jr's Mom explained the types of hope. Material Hope, which is the sense of control when given the resources to deal with forces that affect everyday lives; Socractic Hope, which provides opportunities to question the unjust society; and Audacious Hope, which provides us strength through Christ , so we don't loose heart. The book of Isaiah in the Bible says we need to be Fearless and bold with our Audacious Hope. 5. John Jr found in the Bible the verse Romans 15:13 ~ "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would always stay hopeful. They decided that they would start praying for a better tomorrow.

In the small city of Canaima, Venezuela, stands a grand mansion owned by the wealthy Rodríguez family. Their young son, Andres, is often left alone, as his parents are consumed with business. Though Lorena loves Andres as her own child, she struggles with her own challenges—her son, Camilo, is seriously ill and needs medical attention, but the Rodríguez family remains indifferent to their plight. One night, after a troubling conversation with Andres about his parents’ neglect, Lorena and Andres discover something strange. A mysterious girl, pale and dressed in tattered clothes, appears with a flickering candle, lifting the wooden floorboards and pouring something into a hidden hole beneath the floor. As the girl leaves, she leaves the candle behind. The next night, they return to investigate and find gold coins buried beneath the floor. Lorena’s need to help Camilo leads her to take the coins, paying for medical care. With each night, the temptation to take more grows, until the hole becomes a siren call, drawing them back for more. On the eighth night, as Andres reaches for the coins, he falls into the hole, and Lorena drops the candle, plunging them into darkness. When she relights the candle, the hole has vanished, and both she and Andres are gone. The mansion remains empty, and when workers investigate, they find Andres’s body surrounded by the gold coins. The mansion is said to be cursed, and its eerie silence continues to haunt those who pass by. The mansion still stands in Canaima, abandoned and surrounded by mystery. If you listen closely at night, you might hear a faint voice calling for help: "Please, someone save me... help me..."
