Once upon a time in a small village, there lived a boy named Ben. Ben loved sweets—candy, cookies, and chocolates were his favorite. But one day, Ben fell ill, and the doctor told his mother, "Ben must not eat any sweets. They will make his condition worse." His mother, though sad for Ben, promised to keep him safe. She kept the sweets away and prepared delicious, healthy meals to help him get better. But Ben, unable to resist his cravings, began sneaking sweets when his mother wasn't looking. Each time, he told himself, "Just one won't hurt." And when his mother asked if he had eaten any sweets, Ben would shake his head and say, "No, Mama." Days turned into weeks, and Ben's condition didn't improve. He grew weaker and weaker. One day, as he lay in bed feeling worse than ever, he finally admitted to his mother, "Mama, I've been eating sweets and lying about it. I'm sorry." His mother hugged him tightly, her eyes filled with tears. "Oh, Ben," she said gently, "I only asked you to avoid sweets because I love you and want you to get better. Lying only kept me from helping you." From that day on, Ben decided to listen to his mother and the doctor. Slowly but surely, he began to feel better. Though he missed sweets, he realized that his health and honesty were far more important.

In Tinkerton, lived a mischievous yet lovable dog named Spud. Spud was known for his mischief. Spud set off into the town, ready to cause some mischief. Spud's first stop was the park, where he spotted a group of ducks waddling by the pond. Spud chased the ducks into the water, causing a big splash. "Bad Dog Spud!" quacked the ducks as they paddled away. Next, he spotted pies sitting on a windowsill. Spud snuck up and stole a pie, gobbling it up "Bad Dog Spud!" cried the baker But Spud's happiest moment came when he spotted the school bus. Spud took off after the bus. The children laughed but the bus driver shook his head and said, "Bad Dog Spud!" Spud's mischief only seemed to grow. He chased squirrels, dug up flower beds, and even tried to sneak into the local butcher’s shop. "Bad Dog Spud!" scolded the shop owner as he shooed him away. He went home, as he drifted off to sleep with dreams of more adventures. Despite his mischievous ways, there was no dog quite like Spud.

Two friends, Cupcake and Peanut, are inside their big grey house. Peanut is sleeping on the couch, and Cupcake is in the highest tower of the house, electrocuting himself. A nice older woman knocks on the door. She has black kinky hair, and glasses with many many lenses. She is so kind to the boys, and almost acts as a surrogate mother. She even offers to clean out Peanut's Big Smelly Orange car. Then, she offers the boys infinite cookies, with the condition that they must eat all of them. Thrilled by their good fortune, Cupcake and Peanut happily accept the offer, and enjoy their newfound priviledges. However, over time, the cookies grow to be too much. Cupcake and peanut become overwhelmed and ill from eating all the cookies. With a terrible retching sound, the woman transforms into a witch! The infinite cookies were actually a curse, and cupcake and peanut are suffering as a result of their gluttony. The moral of the story- do not eat too many cookies. The witch transforms into a speck of dust, and is blown away in the wind.

Maddox is 2; a little wild child growing up on a farm with large trees,long grass, noisy guinea fowl, Egyptian geese, rabbits, tortoises, owls. There's vintage cars and old fire trucks in the enormous backyard. Maddox goes on adventures with his best friend, Aslan the Great Dane! Aslan is so large all you ever see of him are his four long, grey legs. Aslan is the mentor; cautious, guiding, teaching Maddox as he rushes fearlessly into crazy and dangerous situations. Maddox is learning to talk. He barks at everyone, yelling, pointing "woo-woo" instead of talking. Everything is called a woo-woo. Aslan teaches him the names of things like mama, dada, car, truck. Each time he points at something and calls it woo-woo, Aslan corrects him and gives the proper name, explaining who or what they are. Mama cries when he finally calls her mama! Dada smiles, he is so proud. In the end Maddox points to Aslan saying Woo-Woo and Aslan agrees, Yes, I am Aslan, the biggest woo-woo that ever was.

On a sunny day, Baa-rbie, Koko and Roo were playing near a dog house. Suddenly, a strange noise came from the barn making them feel intrigued by the sound. They decided to investigate the sound knowing they could rely on the dog to help them. Inside the barn they found an old tractor and a chopped off head. Under the head was a secret passage. The hidden passage to led them to a secret garden filled with toys and food. The garden was overgrown, they knew it needed some work on it. the friends asked the other farm animals to help them with the mission. Everyone worked together, using their skills to make the garden look prettier. As they finished, the farmer appeared and the friends felt a bit relieved. THe farmer was happy and reminded them to stick together. All the animals and farmer returned home and had a nap by the fire place

A hungry baby goes out shopping and finds lots of yummy things to eat. Then she feels a horrible tummy pain which turns out to be a giant burp. Then her mum finds her; and she gets taken home and put to bed for a long long sleep dreaming of the yummy food.

turn this into a Christian children's book: Today our nanny Ava shared an awesome experience at the park with my two little ones. "We are at the park right now. Lex was watching me teach Jens to climb the rope net. I wasn’t holding him but guiding his next step. Lex says “why do you always let go of people when they are doing hard things on the playground when they need help?” (Him referencing Jens struggling on the net calling for my help). I said “it’s so that you learn to do hard things without me”. Lex says, “Oh, I don’t want to do hard things.” 😆 Later, Jens get on the ropes again and calls for help. I encourage him that he can do it while watching from afar. And then he does it! All by himself! At the top Jens yells “I did it!” Jumps up and down and Lex says “Oh that’s why you let us do hard things.” 🥲" I could go on and on about how amazing Ava is as a nanny and what a blessing she is to raising my little men, and she is SUCH a huge blessing and incredible woman, but instead I can't help but see the parallel of that story and the role God has in our lives. I can't tell you how often I wish my lifelong trial would be over and how often I literally ask God why he is making me go through all this pain even I KNOW he could take it away... Then I remember the little and big wins along the way and the things I have learned and gained because of pain I am constantly in. God absolutely tells me where to step, but I haven't ever experienced the feeling of him completely lifting me to the top of the playground. I feel him watching me and cheering me along. Then I do something impossible and I jump up and down with joy saying "I did it!" and I know he's so proud of me. And just like little Lex I think to myself, "Oh that’s why you let us do hard things." Let's not forget to let God guide us. Thank God for the miracles we experience every day
