Nylon is having issues embracing his natural curly locks. Nylon figured the only other option he had was to ask his father if he could get his haircut. So, one Saturday morning Nylon's father took him to the local barbershop to get a haircut. Although this is what Nylon thought was going to be life changing, he still didn't feel any different, eventhough his hair was now gone. When Nylon returned to school on Monday all the kids were looking and pointing not quite the response Nylon was looking for, one of his classmates Syer asked him "Heyyyy, why did you cut your hair? "I thought your hair was really cool looking, I wish my hair would curl like that." Nylon gave a slight smile but on the inside he felt confused, but realized that none ever told him that they did not like his locks, no one ever made fun of him that he had extra curly hair, but instead it was his insecurities about his locks that made him feel that everyone else felt the exact same way that he did. From that day on Nylon realized sometimes being different is what makes us all be unique. Nylon went back home and told his dad that he thinks he will let his hair grow back.

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. A kind frog named Freddy saw Timmy watching. "Hello, Timmy," said Freddy. "Do you want to play with us?" "I do," said Timmy, "but I am scared. I have never jumped from rock to rock before." Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.

As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on. John Jr gave them a compliment. The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi. 3. John Jr shared a quote by Mark Twain "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see". John Jr and Vasi tell each other how easy it is to be kind 4. John Jr and Vasi saw a mom with 5 young kids struggling to push two carts to her car. John Jr and Vasi go over and push the 2nd cart and help keep the kids safe. At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts. The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought. 5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way. At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person. His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.

Tasha tried to remember the way that her and her mom took but she got lost. she ran into a hill that she went flying down and the bike flipped and she scraped her leg and tears fell down her eyes. eventually her mom finds her and gave her a talk how important following rules were as well as obeying her parents. the take away from the story is rules are set in place to keep her safe.

One day, a rabbit named Cici got bored of eating the wild spinach around her yard. The spinach looked unattractive, even though her mother often gave the plants fertilizer. Finally she came to a carrot field that she thought was unguarded by humans. She broke through and enjoyed the carrots which turned out to taste very sweet and fresh. “Ciciii, enough and come back here!” Kiki and Lulu approached Cici from outside the fence, and forbade her from continuing to eat the carrots. Cici didn't care and ran away, but she was caught in a trap net that was indeed in the field. Lulu and Kiki finally helped Cici untie the net, finally Cici was free from the trap and ran with Lulu and Kiki away from the field.
