Once upon a time, a curious little girl named Linda went shopping with her mother and younger sister, Alice. On their way, they passed a beautiful courtyard filled with chickens pecking at the grass. Linda watched them with fascination and called out, "Ko-Ko!" The chickens turned to her, delighting the sisters and their mother. On their way back, Linda felt proud carrying the shopping receipt her mother had entrusted to her. She wanted to show the chickens that she was responsible. But suddenly, a brave chicken with a colorful comb snatched the receipt from her hand. Linda was shocked and called for Ko-Ko to return it. As the chickens pecked at the receipt, Linda watched in horror as it vanished into their beaks. Crying bitterly, she felt disappointed that none of the chickens would return her treasure. On the way home, she complained about the "mean" chickens, and her family tried to comfort her, but her sadness lingered. This unusual tale of a little girl and a brave chicken turned into a funny yet sad adventure. Linda learned that even loyal friends could bring unexpected surprises, and sometimes things don’t go as planned. Later, she smiled at the memory of the chickens, hoping their next encounter would be smoother.

Page 1: Miko the Meerkat and Lizzy the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert. Page 2: Miko and Lizzy are best friends and do everything together! Page 3: Miko is a bright (lively) and friendly meerkat. ( he loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari ) (Miko likes moving from place to place and can’t stay still!) Page 4: Lizzy is a clever lizard ( she loves to imagine about the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class ) whose mind never stopped racing. Page 5: Miko and Lizzy are different from their friends because they both have ADHD! Page 6: Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.

1. A Snowy Adventure Begins

Once upon a sunny day in Rainbow Park, a little girl named Lily was swinging high in the air. “Whee!” she giggled, her feet touching the sky.

1. John Jr and Hopsi was at Granny's house for a visit. Granny was telling them the importance of having the virtue of faith. John Jr and Hopsi were intrigued and wanted to know how they could have faith. 2. Granny explained faith is confidence or trust in God and his promises, based on evidence but without absolute proof other than his written word, which is the Bible. Granny shared the Bible verse in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen". Granny went on to explain that our faith Belief is that God exists, loves us, and sent his son to save us and by showing a commitment by believing that Christ can save us, and how we should putour lives in his hands 2. John Jr and Hopsi wanted a better understanding of faith, so Granny told them that Faith is also complementary to hope. Faith is grounded in the reality of the past, while hope looks to the future. Without faith, there is no hope, and without hope, there is no true faith.Granny told John Jr and Hopsi that they must have a strong trust. 3. Granny went on to say how important the Truth is and urged John Jr and Hopsi to be truthful. She explained that Faith is acting on the truth, whether we feel the truth or not, whether we like the truth or not, whether we agree with the truth or not. 4. John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would practice their faith by HEEARING and they would Listen to God's Word by reading Bible and listening in Sunday School at church. They said they would PRAY and connect with God. John Jr told Hopsi that they couldTALK to friends about their faith. Hopsi said they could LIVE out their faith by Worshipping God and Jesus.
