Once upon a time, in the beautiful state of Arizona, there lived a clever and adventurous ringtail cat named Sprite. Sprite was no ordinary ringtail cat; he had a special job that made him a hero to all who visited the magnificent Arizona Biltmore hotel. Sprite's story began long ago, during the days of pioneers and gold rushes. Back then, people traveled west in search of fortune and adventure. Among these travelers were miners who settled in the rugged Arizona landscape. It was there that they discovered the little creature with a vibrant tail that they called the ringtail cat. Ringtails were special because they were not only cute and affectionate but also incredibly skilled at keeping cabins and mines free of disease-spreading rodents and insects. They became beloved pets to the miners and helped make life a little bit easier for them in the wild west.

He faces immense risk, aware that being caught would lead to execution for him and everyone he’s hiding. Rumors circulate that villagers are betraying each other to save themselves. The farmer becomes increasingly paranoid but is determined to stay strong and support those hiding on his property. Soldiers arrive to search his home. In a moment of intense danger, the farmer keeps his composure, calmly engaging the soldiers in conversation to avoid suspicion while hiding his terror. The soldiers move on, narrowly missing the hidden families. After the soldiers leave, the farmer and the families he sheltered are left in a quiet, tense relief. The families decide to move on the next day to prevent further danger to the farmer. Survivors, inspired by the farmer’s courage, tell his story in whispered tones to others, spreading awareness about the possibility of resistance even under a brutal regime.

Osh wondered out loud. Page 6: "That's not very nice," Ish agreed. "A wedding is a happy time." Page 7: Jesus said that the king was angry and sent his army to destroy those who refused and burn their city. [Matthew 22: 6-7] “Then he sent his servants to go out into the streets and gather everyone they could find." [Matthew 22: 9-10] Page 8: The king's servants brought all kinds of people, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. [Matthew 22:10] Page 9: "But," Jesus said, "when the king came in to see his guests, he noticed a man who was not wearing wedding clothes." [Matthew 22:11] Page 10: "Why wasn't he dressed for the party?" Ish asked. "It's important to wear your best clothes to a wedding." Page 11: The king had the guest without proper attire thrown out. [Matthew 22:13] Jesus then told Osh and Ish, "For many are invited, but few are chosen.” [Matthew 22:14] Page 12: XL explained that Jesus was using this parable to teach about God's invitation to be part of His kingdom.
