Pedestrian lanes are designed to help us cross the road safely." They were about to cross when Peddy saw a traffic light ahead with three different colors. She stopped at the sidewalk. Ian looked at Peddy in confusion. "Why did you stop, Peddy? Come on! There are no cars anymore; we can cross the road." Peddy shook her head. "No, Ian. The traffic light is green, which means vehicles can go. Red means stop, and yellow means slow down." Ian then noticed the pedestrian signal. "Does the hand palm sign mean we should wait and not cross yet?" Peddy nodded. "Yes! And look, now the walking man signal has lit up. That means we can cross safely. That’s a pedestrian signal!" Ian was about to step forward, but Peddy stopped him again. "Before crossing, we should always follow the Stop, Look, and Listen rule. Stop before stepping onto the road. Look for approaching vehicles. Sometimes you can’t see them, so listen carefully for any nearby cars. If it’s all clear, then we can cross." Ian nodded, understanding the safety rules. Finally, Peddy and Ian walked across the pedestrian lane safely. They greeted the school guard happily, feeling secure and ready for their first day of school.

Linette was so scared when she got up the stage 11. she felt all the eyes of different animals audience on her 12. she closed her eyes and thought of her mother, Lily. 13. she began to sing 14. she had her eyes closed for the whole time she was singing and thinking of her mom 15. she opened her eyes when she finished. 16. Everyone was so shocked that she had a talent for singing. 17. they stood up and Linette got a standing ovation. 18. it was time to announce the winners 19. Linette was so nervous but she remembered her mother that thought her that it's okay not to win 20. Linette did not win first place but still got a place. With this, she becomes motivated and more confident.

Patrick was a 6-year-old boy who loved dinosaurs more than anything in the world. He had toy dinosaurs, dinosaur books, and even dinosaur pajamas. But what Patrick really wanted was to live among the dinosaurs. One night, as Patrick lay in bed, he wished with all his heart, I wish I could see real dinosaurs! A Brachiosaurus!” Patrick whispered. The dinosaur looked down at him and gave a gentle nod. Then, Patrick heard a deep RUMBLE. He looked to his left and saw another huge dinosaur with a long neck and a thick tail. “A Brontosaurus!” Patrick said with a big smile. The Brontosaurus made a low, friendly sound and walked past him. Suddenly, the ground shook again. This time, it was different. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Patrick turned and saw the most amazing dinosaur of all—a Tyrannosaurus Rex! The T-Rex roared, but it didn’t seem scary. Instead, it looked at Patrick with curious eyes. “You’re my favorite dinosaur!” Patrick said, feeling excited. The T-Rex let out a playful growl and lowered its head. Patrick climbed onto its back. “Let’s go!” he cheered. The T-Rex ran through the jungle, past rivers and volcanoes, past flying Pteranodons and small running raptors. Patrick laughed and held on tight. It was the best adventure ever! But then, a soft voice whispered, Patrick… Patrick… time to wake up! Patrick blinked and found himself back in his bed. His mom was standing by his side, smiling. “Did you have a good dream?” she asked. Patrick grinned. “The BEST dream ever!” And from that day on, every night, Patrick wished to visit the land of dinosaurs again. The End.
