Ezra, Leo, Mummy, Daddy, Moo and Pops went to Studland beach in Dorset, England. They could see Old Harry Rock in the background., Ezra was digging in the sand when he suddenly said “Daddy there is something really hard in here”. Daddy dug and dug and suddenly they found black volcanic rocks from a million years ago. Ezra collected two pink buckets of volcanic rocks. When they took them home Ezra put them next to his bed. While he slept they started to glow. The next morning they were glowing so brightly. The whole family held hands and rubbed the stones. Suddenly they were taken back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The dinosaurs were friendly. Ezra rode with Mummy on the back of a Brachiosaurus, Leo rode with Daddy on the back of a Triceratoos, and Moo and Pops each rode on Stegosaurus. The played all kinds of games with the dinosaurs. They helped one dinosaur to hatch from an egg. They also helped to feed a baby dinosaur. As it got dark it was time to go home. The all held hands and rubbished the black volcanic rocks again and were transported back in time to day.

Once upon a time, Hayley was sitting in her classroom when her teacher came over with exciting news. “Hayley, you need to go to the hospital right away!” she said with a big smile. The baby had tiny fingers and soft, pink cheeks. “She’s so little,” Hayley whispered, touching Lara’s hand. The baby’s fingers curled around hers. At that moment, Hayley knew that Lara would be the the best little sister in the world and that they would have so many adventures and memories together !

That makes it non-living." Tommy picked up the stone and turned it over in his palm. "So, living things need food, water, and air to grow—like us, trees, and the ladybug!" he said. "And non-living things stay the same unless something moves or changes them," Lily added with a smile. Ella clapped her hands. "Let's go on a nature hunt! Let's find more living and non-living things!" The children ran around the park, eyes wide with excitement. "Look! A butterfly!" Lily called. "These flowers are living too!" Tommy added, crouching to observe a bright yellow daisy. "But this fallen twig is non-living now because it’s no longer growing," Ella pointed out. They laughed and shouted out their discoveries, filling the air with joy. As the sun began to set, Tommy stretched his arms. "This was so much fun! I can't wait to explore more tomorrow." Ella held up her stone and leaf. "Me too! There's so much more to discover." With happy hearts, they walked home under the twinkling stars, ready for another day of adventure.

Ellie the Elephant was small, but she dreamed of being big and strong like the tall trees in the jungle.
