Asher was a 6-year-old girl who loved God. She loved going to church. Her mom cleaned the church, and her father played the drums. One day Asher's best friend Sarah at school got sick. She begin questioning God. She felt distant from God. She continued to go to church but didn't feel like singing anymore, and didn't enjoy hearing God's word anymorOne day, Asher was in Sunday School and her teacher was teaching about the story in the bible where a woman with a blood condition touched Jesus’s garment and she was healed instantly. She loved that story. After the lesson, she went to talk to her Sunday school teacher Sarah. Her teacher encouraged her to continue praying for Sarah, and to have faith that Jesus could heal her too.That night she went home and prayed. She went back to the hospital to visit Sarah. She explained the story of Jesus healing the woman with the blood issue. Sarah is surprised and encouraged. Asher prayed together with Sarah.Asher continued to pray and trust God every day. After a few weeks passed, she visited Sarah again. Her friend was getting ready to leave the hospital. She said Asher I'm all better, I believe that Jesus healed me just like you said! I want to learn more about Jesus Asher is so happy. She went home and thanked God right away. “God” I’m sorry for not believing in you earlier. But I know you will forgive me, because you forgive all our sins always. This story of Asher might relate to you. Sometimes we make mistakes like Asher, but it is never too late for you to start fresh. If you believe in Jesus to save you from your sins, He will. The bible says that if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has passed and behold, a new has come. You might feel hopeless thinking there Is no second or third chance from sin, but we want to encourage you to have faith despite whats happening around you, like Asher did. And believe that this new year, God will give you a new chance to be right with him.

Once upon a time, in a town named Hamelin, there was a big problem. The town had too many rats. They ran through the streets and made everyone unhappy. The people tried to get rid of the rats but nothing worked. One day, a man dressed in colorful clothes arrived. He was called the Pied Piper because he played magical tunes on his flute. The Pied Piper played a tune on his flute. The rats followed him. The Pied Paper walked towards the river. The rats fell into the water and were never to be seen again. The people were thrilled that the rats were gone. But the town leaders refused to thank and pay Pied Piper. They broke their promise. The Pied Piper felt sad. He decided to teach the town a lesson. He played a different tune on his flute. This time all the children of the town followed him. They followed him out of town, through a secret door in a mountain, and into a magical land. From that day the town of Hamelin had no children.

In a big city lived 2 sisters, Ahana & Helena. Ahana was 10 years old, and Helena was 5 years old. Ahana loved to solve mysteries around town. Helena’s favourite thing in the world is her teddy – Teddify. They lived with their dad and stepmum, Kate. One morning Ahana woke to the sound of her little sister crying, said “Ahana do you know where Teddify is.” “No, I don’t know but let’s go find her” said Ahana as she put on her detective outfit. They first searched all around the house for Teddify. Ahana then ran up to their dad. “Dad, do you know where Teddify is” asked Ahana. “I don’t know maybe she went for a walk,” said dad as he chuckled The girls walked down the street to the supermarket hand in hand. Helena asked, “Hi there have you seen Teddify?” “No sorry, not in the shop but I saw one on the park bench this morning ” said Bella sadly. They ran to the park, Helena found a teddy. “This is my teddy” screamed a little girl. “but but” sputtered Helena. Ahana asked both the little girls to please stop arguing, she crouched down to Helena and asked “Doesn’t Teddify have a jumper?” “Yes, she does, sorry” said Helena glumly walking back to the house. When they came back home, Kate saw Helena crying. “Oh no Helena are you alright? Why are you crying?” she asked. Ahana explained how Teddify was missing and how they searched for her everywhere the whole morning. “Mum, have you seen Teddify?” the girls asked. “Sorry no I have been busy doing laundry this morning” replied mum. Hearing this, Ahana’s face lit up “Follow me Helena” she cried. Five seconds later they were ripping clothes out of the basket and at the bottom they found a clean and shiny Teddify. Cuddling Teddify close Helena gave Ahana a big hug and thanked her. “Another case solved!!” the girls cried in unison.
