"The Necklace" is a well-known short story by French author Guy de Maupassant. Hebe and her cousins Sonarra, who is 9 years old, Hosanna, who is 7 years old, are on an adventure at Birds of Paradise in Singapore. It was a sunny and windy day. They were walking past the Cassowary bird enclosure when the female Cassowary grabbed Hosanna's grey rabbit school bag. The three girls were shocked and went to find fruit to exchange with bag but the cassowary. Hebe took out a purple grape ice cream, and suddenly the cassowary looked at her and dropped the school bag and went for the ice cream that Hebe was holding. Cassowary loves grape-flavoured ice cream and the coulour purple . Sonarra grabbed the bag and gave it back to hosanna.

Johnny is a kids soccer player. Johnny loves soccer, but during one of his games he wasn't listening to his teammate and fell. He cried and fell to his mom to show his bruise on his knee but he was talking too erratically for her to understand, so she guides him so he'll calm down. After he calms down and tells her what happened, she takes him to the nurse and she makes johnny tell the nurse what happened. After he did so he got a band aid and was able to play and win the scoring goal for his team

Lily says, “This is Tin Hau, who protects the villagers. Everyone comes to pray to her.” The kids bow their heads in respect. **Page 6** At the Song Ling Tang (the ancestral hall), they see old plaques and carvings. Jack says, “This place honors the ancestors of the Tang family. It really feels historical!” **Page 7** The kids listen to villagers tell stories about Lung Yeuk Tau, especially the legends about pirates. They imagine how brave the villagers were to protect their homes, feeling really impressed. **Page 8** As the trip ends, Jack, Lily, and Emma go home with lots of memories. They promise to share the stories of Lung Yeuk Tau with more friends, so everyone can cherish this cultural treasure!

Etisha and Mishika met on Tuesday, 1 March 2022. Two days later, Mishika went to invite her new neighbour for her birthday party. Come and get this little thing.” Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.
