Rose meets a boy, William, who is poor. He steals some bread and the two of them get chased by a policeman. They hide and think they are safe, but the policeman catches them and threatens to take them to prison. William fakes illness so that Rose can escape, then escapes as well to find her.

Adit hears his mother say that she won’t celebrate her birthday. Adit wants to surprise his mother but doesn’t have money for a gift. He picks colorful wildflowers and writes a heartfelt letter. He places the flowers and letter on the dining table before his mother wakes up. His mother is touched by the surprise and hugs Adit with love.

The Witch and the Shark In the ocean, deep and blue,Lived a shark named Finn, who everyone knew.He loved to swim, so fast, so free,Gliding through the endless sea. Finn was huge, a giant so wide,With tiny fins on his massive side.His belly was white, his body light blue,With eyes so big, they sparkled too! The wise old turtle, slow but smart,Spread the word, made a start.The mighty sea spirit heard the call,And sent a wave—so huge, so tall! Just before Finn took the drop,The ocean roared—SPLASH, PLOP!A mighty wave, so strong, so wide,Swept Finn safely back inside. Morwen shrieked, her spell went poof,She slipped and slid right off the roof!Down she tumbled, wet and mad,No more spells—oh, she was sad! In the village of Harmoni, Serena was known for her kindness and her ability to create wonderful toys. One day, she noticed that the children in the village were often bored and lacked engaging toys to play with. Serena came up with a brilliant idea: “What if we open a toy shop that sells special toys for the village children?” She shared this idea with Pak Dedi, who fully supported it. Serena then began planning and preparing for the toy shop. Serena asked Aqma, a village boy skilled in making wooden toys and clay figurines, to help her. Together, they created various toys, from wooden cars to cloth dolls. However, despite their best efforts, Serena felt that something was still missing. With her talent and determination, Serena kept improving her toys, making them more creative and fun. Finally, the toy shop was ready to open. The village children eagerly lined up, excited to see the new toys. The toy shop was an immediate success. The children, who had been bored before, were now full of joy and energy, playing with their new toys. Pak Dedi was very proud of Serena. “You’ve taught us all about the importance of creativity and bringing happiness to the village,” he said. Since then, Serena and Aqma continued to create toys that spread joy, making the village of Harmoni a place full of happiness for everyone.

The memorial honors US service members who died in the Vietnam War. It's located at the National Mall and Memorial Parks in Washington, DC. The memorial was dedicated in 1982. The wall is 246 feet 9 inches long, and the total length of the wall is 493 feet 6 inches. The wall contains more than 58,000 names, l. The names begin and end at the center of the memorial The first name is located in the center of the memorial, at the top of the wall, under the date 1959. The wall is made of reflective black granite to allow the names to take precedence, and to make the visitor feel as though they are looking into the peaceful “other world” of the dead. The wall has two 200-foot-long sections that make up the wall, one section directed toward the Lincoln Memorial, and the other is toward the Washington Monument. Each section of the "V" shape has 70 separate panels. The names are listed in the order in which the men and women died or were declared missing.

Lots of children give plastic bottle lids to Lids4Kids to be recycled. Lids4Kids volunteers sort them into color categories as a group. The colored lids are divided into 3 groups before being poured into a big machine that mulches them into small flakes. Another machine melts the flakes and extrudes them into a metal mold in the shape of slats for a bench. Volunteers then use carpentry tools to build a colorful bench.
