(page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Genesis 17:7: “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you.” A Son (Isaac) in Old Age – Though Sarah was barren, God promised Abraham a son. Genesis 17:19: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant.” These promises were fulfilled in different ways: Israel became a great nation. The land of Canaan was given to Israel. Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham, brought salvation to all nations.
