Avianna ran to the park, her curly brown hair and big brown eyes sparkling with excitement. She was meeting her best friend, Arlo, a big green T-Rex. Mr. Smith found a beautiful and easy story that he used as an analogy to explain to Harvey what a Roth IRA account is and how does money grow. His retirement account will be worth a lot of money and Harvey decides to listen to his boss. He decided to put 20 dollars every week. After 4 months he had about 355 dollars, which is 35 dollars more than he contributed. He was so happy that his money grew and was happy with his investment. Sparky was also happy.

Luna doesn't understand and goes on to figure out why and how she should thank the earth. SHe thinks to herself, the earth is not a person, the ocean has no feelings, and the tree can't cry. Her grandma goes on to tell her she is wrong. The Earth is a beautiful place, but it also hurts when it's mistreated. As people continue to heart the earth by causing climate change the beaches she loves may be ruined, the animals in the safari may disappear, and the earth she loves may feel sadness. Luna wants to help, her grandma tells her she must thank the earth for everything it does for us, and encourgae others to do the same. You can take a second and just say thank you earth, but you can also pick up trash you see on the street, use less water, walk to places instead of driving. Small things matter, and one day when luna is all grown up she can team up with people who also take time to thank the earth, and continue to tell others to do the same.,

At first, George didn’t understand. She had always been there. How could she just be… gone? Sometimes, he felt sad, and other times, he felt angry—angry that she left, angry that no one could fix it. He wanted to talk to her, but she wasn’t there. And worst of all, some days he felt okay, and that made him feel guilty. At school, things were different too. Gorges's best friend, Mia, didn’t know what to say, so she said nothing at all. His teacher, Mr. Potter, noticed that George didn’t want to play as much, and sometimes, he just stared at his notebook, drawing nothing.
