Onto the stairway, others started making friends. Elias was presented “the Sorting Hat” Elias waited till the sorting hat presented his house... Gryffindor! Gryffindor kids had cheered and greeted Elias to their table. two boys and a girl leaned into Elias, “Welcome to Gryffindor Elias, my name is Hermione Granger, and these two knuckleheads are Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.” Elias was in shock, He thought: “Harry Potter? He’s a celebrity!” Hermione started to talk. He ignored the nerdy stuff about like spells, books, dungeons. Elias did pick up a few words from Hermione “There was this one big purple door, it says “keep out” we should probably not go near it, rumours say it’s filled with dark spirits...”

Rob eats porridge for breakfast every day. Sometimes he picks fresh raspberries from his garden for his porridge. He eats a different porridge every day - sometimes coconut, sometimes with blueberries, and sometimes with nuts, honey and apple. This porridge gives him a lot of energy in the morning and makes him feel like a superhero.

Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.

He told his parents about his dream, but his mother shook her head. "Harry, we're hogs. We can't drive trucks. We live in the mud on this farm." But Harry didn’t give up. His dream to drive that big red truck kept him going. At bedtime, Harry told his brother about his dream, but his brother just told him to go to sleep. While Harry’s brother dreamed of rolling around in gooey mud, Harry couldn’t stop thinking about driving that big red truck. Harry was always the first hog awake in the mornings, eager to watch Farmer Jenkins pull up in that big red truck. The other hogs were already thinking about breakfast, but Harry was focused on studying every move Farmer Jenkins made as he parked and unloaded their food. One morning, Harry woke up before dawn. The sky was still dark, and the air was thick with clouds. He thought he might’ve woken up too early, but it wasn’t the time—it was just a stormy morning. Heavy rain started to pour down as a loud crash of thunder shook the farm. Despite the storm, Harry was determined to see that big red truck, so he slipped into his bright yellow raincoat and boots—his name written on the sides—and ran to the end of the hog pen to watch.

1. The starfish was very sad. She lost her favorite shell! It was the prettiest shell in the whole ocean, shiny with all the colors of the rainbow. Starfish looked everywhere – in the seaweed, under the sand, and even inside the big clam's house. But she couldn't find it. 2. The clownfish saw Starfish looking sad. "What's wrong, Starfish?" he asked. Starfish told him about her lost shell. Clownfish felt sorry for her. "Don't worry," he said, "We will find it!" 3. Clownfish and Starfish looked for the shell. They asked all their friends – the octopus, the crab, and even the old seahorse. Everyone helped, but the shell was still gone. 4. The turtle, who was very wise, came over. "Did you look in the ocean current?" he asked slowly. "Sometimes the current takes things far away." 5. The dolphin was very fast. "I will swim and look for your shell in the current, Starfish," he said. Dolphin zoomed through the water, looking everywhere, following where the current went. 6. After a long time, Dolphin saw it! Starfish's shell was stuck in some seaweed, far away. He carefully took it and swam back quickly. 7. When Dolphin came back with the shell, Starfish was so happy! She hugged Clownfish, thanked Turtle, and gave Dolphin a little push with her starfish arms. "Thank you, my friends!" she cried. "You saved the day!" From that day on, Starfish loved her shell even more, and she always remembered how kind her friends were.

I am Luca. I am four years old, and I just started Kindy. It is exciting, but also a little bit scary. There are so many new things—new teachers, new friends, and a big new playground! Every morning, my grown-up walks me to the Kindy room. Some days, I feel happy. Other days, I feel nervous and want to stay longer. When I feel worried, my tummy feels funny, and I want to cry. Mrs. Kubicek showed me the Zones of Regulation chart. She told me feeling worried is the blue zone, and that it is okay. To feel better, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or give a big hug before saying, “See you later!” When I miss my family, I remember that they love me always, and I will see them again soon when I get home. This helps me feel safe. When I get to the Kindy room, I put my bag, crunch and sip, and water bottle in their places. This helps me get ready for the day. Before Kindy starts, I can play with the trucks and puzzles. Sometimes, I do this with Mum or Dad before they say goodbye. That helps me feel braver. Recess and Lunch At recess, all the children go outside to eat and play. I feel nervous and stay near the wall. Mrs. Kubicek notices and says, “Luca, would you like to sit with Milani and Bodhi?” I nod. Milani and Bodhi smile and say, “Come sit with us!” That makes me feel good inside. I move into the green zone—calm and happy! Sometimes, I want to stay with Mrs. Kubicek at recess and lunch. But when she leaves, I feel sad. She reminds me that it is important to play with my friends. I take a deep breath, press my hug button, and find Milani and Bodhi. Once I start playing, I feel much better! At the end of the day, I pack my bag and sit on the mat. When I see my grown-up waiting, I run to give them a big hug. “How was your day?” they ask.I smile and say, “I played with Milani and Bodhi.” Each day, I feel a little braver. If I feel nervous, I can take deep breaths, press my hug button, or ask for help. Kindy is full of adventures, and I am ready for them all!
