His wish was granted On his way home, he touched rocks and plants and they turned into gold. As he reached home, in excitement he hugged his daughter, who turned into gold. Midas was devastated and he had learnt his lesson. Upon learning his lesson, Midas asked the angel to take his wish away. Moral of the story Greed is not good for you. June took 4, Mocha took 2, and now I have 6 left. That makes 12!” Ella smiled and hugged June. “Next time, just ask before you take my sweets, Junie Poh!” she laughed. June grinned, chocolate still on her face. “Okay, Ella, I promise I’ll ask next time.” Then she looked at Mocha. “And you, no more sneaking my reeses cup from under the bed!” Mocha wagged her tail happily, and Ella gave her a big hug. Granny went on to say how important the Truth is and urged John Jr and Hopsi to be truthful.
