Genesis 12:2: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” The Land of Canaan – God promised Abraham and his descendants the land of Canaan. Genesis 13:15: “All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.” Blessing to All Nations – Through Abraham, all the families of the earth would be blessed (a prophecy about Jesus Christ). Genesis 12:3: “All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Countless Descendants – Abraham’s offspring would be as numerous as the stars. Genesis 15:5: “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them. So shall your offspring be.” A Covenant Relationship – God promised to be the God of Abraham and his descendants forever. Genesis 17:7: “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you.” A Son (Isaac) in Old Age – Though Sarah was barren, God promised Abraham a son. Genesis 17:19: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant.” These promises were fulfilled in different ways: Israel became a great nation. The land of Canaan was given to Israel. Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham, brought salvation to all nations.

Help my children feel at ease while they know what I’m doing this weekend as I go away from them for the first time. Tell them about how I’m going to be so sad and miss them as I leave the house. How I think about them all the time I’m gone. How I get an uber to the airport, then go through airport security and sit at the lounge before getting on an Air New Zealand plane and fly to Queenstown. How happy I am to be reunited with all my best friends. We are all mums leaving our kids for the first time so we all FaceTime our kids and miss them a lot. And talk about how proud we are of them. Then we have a Mexican night dinner. Then we do a dance class. And after 2 nights away of having fun, I’m so excited to go to the airport and fly back to sydney. Meanwhile Dadda is spoiling them with fun treats like burgers and chips, and taking them to soccer and swimming classes, and even a friends birthday party. They get to watch TV and have so much fun jumping on the bed and being silly with Dadda. Then how I get reunited with my boys Teddy and Max and I’m so happy I could cry with joy.

Nylon is having issues embracing his natural curly locks. Nylon has tried everything to cover his natural curly hair from wearing baseball caps, pulling hoodies over his head with the drawstring tightly. Nylon thought to himself one night maybe if I spray my head with water and hold my hands on top of my head for 10 minutes my hair would flatten, while this did make Nylon's hair less poofy, by the time morning arrived Nylon hair was curlier and puffer than ever. Nylon figured the only other option he had was to ask his father if he could get his haircut. So, one Saturday morning Nylon's father took him to the local barbershop to get a haircut. Although this is what Nylon thought was going to be life changing, he still didn't feel any different, eventhough his hair was now gone. When Nylon returned to school on Monday all the kids were looking and pointing not quite the response Nylon was looking for, one of his classmates Syer asked him "Heyyyy, why did you cut your hair? "I thought your hair was really cool looking, I wish my hair would curl like that." Nylon gave a slight smile but on the inside he felt confused, but realized that none ever told him that they did not like his locks, no one ever made fun of him that he had extra curly hair, but instead it was his insecurities about his locks that made him feel that everyone else felt the exact same way that he did. From that day on Nylon realized sometimes being different is what makes us all be unique. Nylon went back home and told his dad that he thinks he will let his hair grow back.

Ezra, Leo, Mummy, Daddy, Moo and Pops went to Studland beach in Dorset, England. They could see Old Harry Rock in the background., Ezra was digging in the sand when he suddenly said “Daddy there is something really hard in here”. Daddy dug and dug and suddenly they found black volcanic rocks from a million years ago. Ezra collected two pink buckets of volcanic rocks. When they took them home Ezra put them next to his bed. While he slept they started to glow. The next morning they were glowing so brightly. The whole family held hands and rubbed the stones. Suddenly they were taken back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The dinosaurs were friendly. Ezra rode with Mummy on the back of a Brachiosaurus, Leo rode with Daddy on the back of a Triceratoos, and Moo and Pops each rode on Stegosaurus. The played all kinds of games with the dinosaurs. They helped one dinosaur to hatch from an egg. They also helped to feed a baby dinosaur. As it got dark it was time to go home. The all held hands and rubbished the black volcanic rocks again and were transported back in time to day.

Beppe clapped his little hands as the bright yellow bus rolled into view. His sister Nina held his tiny hand, guiding him aboard. The bus had big, shiny wheels, and they made a fun sound as they went round and round. “The wheels on the bus go round and round!” Nina sang, and Beppe giggled, swaying to the music. Beppe looked out the window and saw the trees. “Swish, swish, swish!” Nina said, pointing at the branches moving in the wind. Beppe laughed and tapped the window with his fingers. Inside the bus, Nina found a button. “Beep, beep, beep!” she said, pretending to press it. Beppe joined in, making cheerful little noises. As the bus stopped, Beppe spotted its big, round wheels again. They still went round and round in his mind. The adventure had been full of music, motion, and fun. Back at home, Beppe sat with Nina, babbling happily. He couldn’t wait to ride the bus again and sing with his sister.

He learned that God wants wants you to grow into a strong tree, nourished by the light of His word. God promised those who follow and trust his way will flourish and prosper. 2. Jesus is the water of life that will nourish and gives us light for all us to grow into a strong person. John Jr decided to delight in the ways of God and to not let Satan decieve him. John Jr started to read more about being a good follower of Jesus. John Jr wanted to bear good fruit and started practicing love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, and faith in his everyday life. John learned wisdom was tree of life and the righteous was its fruit. 3. John Jr learned that the tree of knowledge of bad and evil tries to divide human action into Right or Wrong, Good or Evil and Lawful or Unlawful with privileges and punishments for each case. John Jr learned that the tree of knowledge is where sin came from. John Jr decided that he was going to obey God's ways better. He decided to not tell lies anymore and to be kind to his neighbor by not picking their flowers and just try to be more righteous. 4. So God wants us to plant vegetables in our garden that will draw us closer to him. John Jr started planting peas, lettuce, squash, turnips and thyme.
