In an instant, a sausage appeared on the table. His wife was furious and began scolding him for wasting a wish. In her anger, she wished the sausage would stick to his nose—and, suddenly, it did! Now they had only one wish left, and the poor man was left with a sausage stuck to his nose. They had no choice but to use the last wish to remove it. And so, they returned to having nothing but their little hut and their cow, just as before. From that day on, they learned to think twice before making any hasty wishes.

Page 2 One day, with tears in her eyes, Hannah prayed, “Lord, if You give me a son, I will give him back to You to serve You all his life.” Page 3 The priest, Eli, saw Hannah praying and said, “May God grant your request.” Hannah believed in God’s promise and left the temple full of hope. Page 4 God answered Hannah’s prayer! She gave birth to a baby boy and named him Samuel, which means “God has heard.” She loved him dearly. Page 5 When Samuel was old enough, Hannah kept her promise. She brought him to the temple and said to Eli, “God has blessed me with a son, and now I give him back to serve the Lord.” Page 6 Samuel grew up in the temple, learning from Eli. One night, he heard a voice calling, “Samuel! Samuel!” He thought Eli was calling him, but Eli said, “I did not call you. Go back to sleep.” Page 7 The voice called again, and again Samuel ran to Eli. But Eli realized it was God speaking to Samuel! He told Samuel, “Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’” Page 8 Samuel listened, and God spoke to him. From that night on, Samuel became a great prophet, guiding Israel and teaching them to follow God. Page 9 Hannah’s faith and promise led to Samuel becoming one of the greatest leaders of Israel. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert, they are best friends (Miko and Lou must be in one picture). Miko loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari. Lou is a clever lizard; she loves to imagine the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class with the other meerkats. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class with the other lizards because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation (Miko and Lou need to be in the desert, in scenes like the class there needs to be other meerkat and lizards, not children) . They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other!
