We forgot our birthday, but we were 6 months old when we were adopted. Our human friend told us our birthday is on February 28, because we were born in February but we don’t know the date. Page 5: When we came home, we got put in a cage. We were nervous. The cage was bigger than the old one we used to live in. Page 6: Our first morning, we woke up to a huge salad in a bowl. We ate all of it in just a few minutes. Page 7: Our human friends like to call us the two little Pigs. But sometimes we scratch and squeal too loud, it makes them upset. They forgive us, and we forgive them though. Page 8: We love all of the humans that come to visit us. You can come see us and we will jump and squeal. Like what our human friend tells us, have a good day, little pig pigs.

The smell of boiled crawfish filled the Louisiana kitchen, mixing with steam rising from the big silver pot. But I’ll show you the right way.” She held the crawfish up. “First, grab it where the head and tail meet—right here. Now twist.” With a quick motion, she popped off the head. “Some folks suck the head for the good juices.” Gage gagged. “Ew, no way!” Daddy chuckled. “More for me, then!” Momma shook her head, smiling. “Alright, suit yourself. Now, pinch the end of the tail, squeeze a little, and pull.” She slid out the perfect piece of meat and dipped it in butter. “See? Easy.” Gage copied her, his fingers fumbling at first—twist, pinch, pull. Out came the juicy meat. “I did it!” Momma clapped. “That’s my boy! Now try it.” He dipped it in the butter and took a bite. His face lit up. “Mmm! That’s good!” His little brother babbled, reaching for the pile. Daddy laughed. “Looks like we got another crawfish lover.” The kitchen filled with laughter as they peeled and ate, passing corn and potatoes around. Gage wiped his hands and reached for another. “Momma, I think I’m getting good at this.”Momma ruffled his hair. “Told you, cher. Crawfish season ain’t just about eatin’. It’s about family.” And that night, under the warm glow of their Cajun kitchen, Gage became a true crawfish peeler.

Next scene children are still walking along path hand in hand but have different scenery/ background now like they have made way down the path. One of the children is bending down to pick up a coin found in the path while both children have expressions of excitement for what they found and the angel baby appears to be watching with anticipation. Place a cardinal, a feather and blue butterfly, a dragonfly, things that people associate with messages from heaven, in the photo somewhere. It is now dusk and almost completely dark. Next scene. It is now completely dark and the sky is full of stars. Children have come to an opening from the forest
