Page 9 Kage (3) wants cotton candy, but they remind him to make choices. Page 10 By evening, they have money left for small souvenirs. One sunny day, Caira was in her room, reading her favorite book about stars and planets. Then, poof! Out of a sparkle of light, a unicorn appeared! "Hello, Caira! I’m Luna the Unicorn," said the unicorn with a wink. "Do you want to go on a magic adventure?" "Yes, please!" Caira said with big, bright eyes. Caira hopped on Luna's back, and up, up, up they went! They flew past clouds, over rainbows, and then into space! Stars twinkled all around them. First, they visited the Candy Planet. The ground was made of gumdrops, and the trees were lollipops! Caira tried a pink gumdrop. "Yum!" she giggled. Then, they flew to the Rainbow Planet. There were rivers of colors that sparkled and shone. Caira dipped her finger in, and it turned rainbow too! Next stop was the Bubble Planet. Bubbles floated everywhere! Big bubbles, small bubbles, even bubbles you could sit on! Caira and Luna bounced and giggled as bubbles popped around them. "Time to go home, Caira," said Luna softly. They flew back through the stars and rainbows until they landed gently back in Caira's room. "Thank you, Luna," said Caira, giving the unicorn a big hug. "Remember, Caira," Luna said with a smile, "magic is everywhere when you believe!" And with a poof, Luna was gone. But Caira knew… her unicorn friend was just a dream away. ✨

Page 1 Today, Alex and Emma are going on a school trip to Lung Yeuk Tau. They are very excited to see the beautiful mountains and old villages! Page 2 The bus drives along the mountain road to Lung Yeuk Tau. Alex tells Emma, "The mountains here look like a dragon jumping, so it’s called Lung Yeuk Tau!" Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. Everyone listens with great interest, looking forward to the day they can explore Lung Yeuk Tau together!

1. John Jr and Vasi were bored and started to brainstorm ideas that they could do. John Jr's mom heard and told them about a new kids museum in town. John Jr was excited, so they packed up some stuff and headed to the museum. 2. They arrived at The Museum of Children's Creations. The admission was free for kids. Once inside they were amazed. Everything in the museum had been made by a child. 3. The first thing they saw was a trampoline. John Jr and Vasi jumped around on it and Vasi did some cool flips. Then they saw some toy trucks that a 6 year old had invented. John Jr was really impressed by that. They saw braille used by blind people, Popsicles and magnetic locker paper all had been created by teenagers. 3. John Jr saw ear muffs and crayon holders were also invented by kids. John Jr was really surprised at the inventions of children. 4. John Jr and Vasi saw that Ben Franklin started inventing stuff as a young boy with his invention of swim flippers. They thought it was really neat that Christmas lights were also a kids idea. But the thing that amazed John Jr and Vasi was the invention of the snowmobile. 5. John Jr and Vasi bought a souvenir and headed home. They were trying to think of something they could invent. They possed an unmatched sense of wonder and possibility.

Carly-Rae is a young ballerina recieves an invitation to practice. But when she shows up it ends up being football practice and she gets all bent out of shape. But I keep showing up. Eventually I start realizing I have to get some sort of padding, so I make some out of stuff i have at home and it works for a bit but doesn’t hold up very well. And I kind of figure out how to get by in the game. Eventually tho it just gets to be to much and the padding breaks down and I just stop showing up. That’s where I am now. Just hiding. But eventually the ballerina will figure out how to just do ballet in the football field
