John Jr found out about a very important document called the Declaration of Independence and explained to Yuēhàn a little history on it. John Jr explained that America was involved in a Revolutionary War. The Declaration of Independence is the founding document of the United States. On July 4, 1776, it was adopted unanimously by the 56 delegates to the Second Continental Congress, who convened at the Pennsylvania State House, later renamed Independence Hall, in the colonial era capital of Philadelphia. The Committee of Five, including John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert R. Livingston, and Roger Sherman, were the ones who had the most influential input into authoring the document. Thomas Jefferson actually wrote the original document the Second Continental Congress then did the editing. The signers of the Declaration of Independence are the nation's Founding Fathers. 3. John Jr explained how the Declaration explains to the world why the Thirteen Colonies regarded themselves as independent states no longer subject to British colonial rule. The Declaration justified the independence of the United States by listing 27 colonial grievances against King George III and by asserting certain natural and legal rights, including a right of revolution. 5. John Jr told Yuēhàn that The Declaration of Independence has proven an impactful statement on human rights, particularly its second sentence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." 6. Haden Edwards received an empresario contract to settle 800 families near Nacogdoches. When he arrived with the families in the 1820s, he discovered people already lived there. They arrived long before Mexico gave him the grant. Edwards became very angry and tried to take over the town. The Mexican government did not support Edwards. Instead, they annulled his contract. Edwards stayed in the area and attempted to start a rebellion. On December 21, 1826, Edwards and his supporters claimed part of East Texas free and independent of Mexico. They named it the Republic of Fredonia. They even had support of the Cherokee in the area. However, most Anglo settlers in Texas did not support Haden’s rebellion. When a group of men from Austin’s colony joined with Mexican soldiers to march on Fredonia, Haden and his brother fled to the United States. The unrest caused Mexican leaders to rethink their immigration policies.

One day Niro was in a particularly serious mood and he asked Zo to take him somewhere he could use his brains. And Zo said - I have just the place for you. Let's go to the land of jigsaw puzzles. And off they went. When they arrived, Niro saw multiple puzzle pieces floating by and then suddenly a tall puzzle piece appeared before them. It was King Jiggy of Jigsaw Land. He said - "Welcome to Jigsaw Land. My nephew, Max, is the missing piece in the puzzle. Please help me find him otherwise the puzzle will remain incomplete. " Niro became the detective. He asked King Jiggy - "Where did you last see him?" "I saw him near the sphinx which asks questions, " King Jiggy replied. "The sphinx has the head of a human, body of a lion and wings of an eagle. " Niro and Zo went to the Sphinx, and asked him - "Have you seen Max?" "I will tell you the way to Max if you answer this question - 'What has a head and a tail but no body?'" Zo replied thoughtfully - "Head and a tail? What can it be Niro?" Niro said - "I know! It's a coin!" . The sphinx smiled and lifted its paw to let them inside. It was dark and dingy. They suddenly heard someone laugh loudly. When they looked to the right, they saw a firefly which was glowing in the dark. "Hi! I am Light! Where do you want to go?" "We lost Max, a jigsaw puzzle piece. Have you seen him?" "Yes! He went that way. Let me take you. " As Light went ahead, their way was blocked by a giant frog. He croaked - "I go up and down, but never move. What am I?" Zo wondered and then replied - "A staircase!" "You are right! You may enter!" Then all of them moved ahead and found Max sobbing in a corner. Max had lost his way and Niro gently hugged him. Light guided him outside the sphinx. King Jiggy thanked them for finding Max and completing the puzzle!
