very year, the animals of the Great Forest come together for the Forest Games, a fun-filled day of friendly competitions—racing, jumping, climbing, and balancing events that celebrate each animal’s unique abilities. Milo the Moose has always loved watching the games, but this year, he wants to participate. There’s just one problem: Milo can’t run or jump like the others. His legs aren’t as strong, and he moves more slowly than his friends. Some animals worry that the games might be too difficult for him, but Milo is determined to find a way to compete in his own way. With the help of his inventive raccoon friend, Hazel, Milo modifies his walking cart with new wheels and a gentle push mechanism, allowing him to move more easily. As the games begin, Milo discovers that while he may not be the fastest, he has other strengths—he’s great at balancing, solving tricky obstacles, and encouraging others when they feel discouraged. During the final event, a team relay, one of the fastest competitors, Benny the Rabbit, trips and twists his ankle. The whole team is at risk of losing—until Milo steps in. Using his cart, he carries Benny across the finish line, proving that winning isn’t about being the fastest or the strongest—it’s about teamwork, kindness, and determination. At the end of the games, the animals cheer for Milo, not because he won the most events, but because he showed everyone that true strength comes from never giving up. Inspired by him, the animals decide that next year’s Forest Games will include new events that celebrate different kinds of abilities, ensuring that everyone has a chance to shine.

The Apple of Friendship In a cozy forest lived three little animals: Bunny Ears, Hedgehog Spiky, and Squirrel Fluffy. They often played together in a sunny clearing. One day, Bunny Ears found a big, juicy apple. He was very excited and was about to eat it all by himself, but then he thought about his friends. "Hey, Spiky and Fluffy!" Ears called out. "I found a tasty apple. Let's share it!" Hedgehog and Squirrel came running, and together they divided the apple into three equal pieces. "How wonderful it is to have friends!" said Fluffy, munching on her piece. "And how nice it is to share!" added Spiky. From that day on, the little animals always shared everything they found. 1. One crisp autumn morning, Sara, a quiet and thoughtful student, was walking to school. The sun peeked through the trees, casting a warm glow over the streets. As she walked, she gently touched her favorite silver necklace. It was a gift from her grandmother, a delicate piece with a small heart-shaped pendant. Sara’s grandmother had given it to her on her 10th birthday, and it had become her most treasured possession. She always wore it, feeling close to her grandmother even when they were far apart. 2. At school, during the morning break, Sara felt a small tug at her chest. Her necklace was gone! She gasped and quickly patted her neck, hoping it was just hidden under her shirt. But no, it wasn't there. Panic set in. Sara ran to her bag and frantically rummaged through it, her fingers trembling. It wasn't there either. She checked the corners of her desk, the floor, and even under the books stacked neatly on top of her papers. Then, with a sinking feeling, she dashed out to the playground. But the necklace was nowhere to be found. 3. Sara felt a lump rise in her throat. Her heart sank as she stared at the empty chain that should have been around her neck. She felt helpless, as if a part of her had disappeared with the necklace. Taking a deep breath, Sara went to her teacher, Ms. Fatimah, who was supervising the students. Ms. Fatimah noticed Sara’s worried face right away. “Sara, what’s wrong?” she asked kindly. “I...I’ve lost my necklace,” Sara said, her voice barely above a whisper. “It was my grandmother’s.” Ms. Fatimah smiled gently and put a hand on Sara’s shoulder. “Don't worry, Sara. We'll find it. Let’s ask your friends for help.”
