Your subconscious helps you remember how to ride a bike, how to tie your shoes, and even helps you feel happy or calm. It listens to everything you think and feel, even if you don’t say it out loud. If you think happy thoughts and believe in good things, your subconscious helps make those things happen. Just like happy thoughts bring good things, sad or angry thoughts can bring not-so-good things. If you keep thinking, “I can’t do this,” or “This is too hard,” you might feel upset and not try your best. Holly thinks its important to focus on the good and stay positive. One day Layla wore her superpower costume and was mischievous in so many different ways. Her father told her she wasn’t super at all and sent her to her room without her lunch. Layla felt cross and angry. Just then, her room changed and it became the clouds in the sky. That night, Layla climbed into her private hot air balloon and soared high above the houses. She flew in and out of clouds and almost over a rainbow to the land where the giants live. Layla gazed at this place as her balloon approached. She could see tall trees that towered and stretched as high as the sky. She could see huge houses that lurked in the darkness beyond. She could even see fantastic flowers whose beautiful fragrance danced on the breeze. When she arrived at the place where the giants live, the giants stomped their enormous feet and boomed with their enormous voices and crunched their enormous teeth. Layla didn’t care. She waved at them cheerily and then they made her Queen of the Giants. Soon though, Layla grew weary of the Giants and dreamed of her home. So she climbed back into her hot air balloon, drifted through clouds and almost over a rainbow until she landed back in the warmth of her very own room.

The Moon was even more incredible than they had imagined! They put on their helmets and stepped outside. The first thing they noticed was how light they felt. The Moon’s gravity is only about one-sixth of Earth’s, so they could jump really high and far. They laughed as they bounced around, leaving footprints in the Moon dust. As they explored, they learned some amazing facts. The Moon doesn’t have any air, so there’s no wind or weather to change its surface. That’s why the footprints they made would stay there for thousands of years! They also discovered that the Moon has no light of its own—it only shines because it reflects light from the Sun. Leo, Maya, and Alex also visited a huge crater called Tycho. They marveled at the steep walls and rocky surface. Commander Vega explained that the craters were formed by meteoroids crashing into the Moon long ago. They even saw some Moon rocks, which looked different from the rocks on Earth because of the lack of atmosphere.
