The Magic of Nature One sunny morning, Lily and her little brother Tom went to the park with their Grandpa. As they walked, Grandpa smiled and said, “Do you know that everything around us is connected?” Tom looked around. “What do you mean, Grandpa?” Grandpa pointed to the sky. “Look at the air. We breathe it to stay alive, and so do the animals and plants!” Lily took a deep breath. “Wow! So air helps us all!” Grandpa nodded. “And water is just as important. It gives us something to drink, helps plants grow, and provides a home for fish and frogs!” Tom ran to a small pond and saw ducks swimming. “Water is amazing!” Next, Grandpa bent down and picked up a handful of soil. “Soil helps plants grow. Without it, trees, flowers, and food plants wouldn’t grow!” Lily looked at the green grass and trees. “And plants give us food, shade, and air to breathe!” Grandpa smiled. “Yes! And animals? They help nature too! Birds spread seeds, bees help flowers grow, and animals keep the forest healthy.” Tom laughed as he saw a squirrel running up a tree. “Everything works together!” Grandpa nodded. “Yes! That’s why we must take care of our air, water, soil, plants, and animals. They make the world a happy and healthy place!” Lily and Tom promised to always respect nature. As they walked home, they felt grateful for the wonderful world around them. The End.

Lizards in the Land of High and Low is a delightful and educational children’s book that takes readers on a journey to discover how two unique lizards—one from cold, high-altitude mountains and the other from warm, low-altitude valleys—adapt to their environments. Based on real scientific research, this story introduces young readers to the world of science and adaptation through the lens of a "sprinting contest" and fascinating muscle comparisons. The book explores the research question: How do these lizards’ muscles help them survive and move in such different places? It explains how the mountain lizard, P. erythrurus, has muscles suited for cold temperatures, while the valley lizard, P. przewalskii, has muscles that work best in warmth. The engaging narrative and colorful illustrations inspire curiosity about science, biology, and how animals thrive in extreme environments. Perfect for budding scientists and nature lovers alike!

Our story kicks off in the wild, untamed land of social media—a realm as chaotic and unpredictable as a dragon in a china shop. Picture 14-year-old Ilya, a digital adventurer with the bravery of a knight and the curiosity of a cat, blasting out friend requests to anyone whose name looked even remotely interesting. Among these names was Ekaterine’s, a 13-year-old with a reputation for blocking random requests like a pro. But fate had other plans. For reasons only the cosmos truly understands, Ekaterine decided to accept Ilya’s request. Their first conversation? Well, let’s just say it was as graceful as a troll in ballet slippers. Ilya, ever the creative soul, spun a tall tale about being a fan of the band featured in Ekaterine’s profile picture—a tale as true as a dragon's promise to never hoard gold. Despite the wobbly start, their chat turned into something surprisingly real, blossoming over years of friendly banter. And thus, their story began, with occasional interruptions from the capricious forces of fate.
