Di sana, dia melihat Amin terbaring di atas katil dengan muka yang pucat. Ibu Amin memberitahu bahawa Amin demam. Kucing itu tidak berputus asa. Ia segera berlari ke warung Pak Hassan dan mengiau kuat di hadapan kedai. Pak Hassan yang mengenali kucing itu segera faham bahawa sesuatu telah berlaku. Dia mengambil sedikit bubur dan pergi ke rumah Amin. Dengan kasih sayang dan penjagaan ibunya serta bantuan Pak Hassan, Amin sembuh beberapa hari kemudian. Dia sangat terharu melihat kucing kesayangannya berada di sisi sepanjang dia sakit. Sejak hari itu, Amin bukan sahaja memberi makan kepada kucing itu, tetapi juga menjaganya sebagai haiwan peliharaan. Mereka menjadi sahabat sejati, saling menjaga antara satu sama lain.

But when Amir's mom brings the cake, Rotem has a problem: all the kids push ahead and ask for cake, and she doesn't want to push and doesn't know how to ask for cake. She asks Dad, who tells her she should go up to Amir's mom, put her hand forward and ask. Rotem tries. She's too shy to talk, but she puts her hand out, Amir's mom understands and gives her a piece of cake. Rotem eats the cake with all the other kids. Rotem goes home proud of herself, and Dad is proud of her for asking for cake.

"What does that mean?" asked Didi. "It means Lulu isn’t gone," Mimi explained. "She’s sleeping through the winter to stay safe from the cold." "She’s just sleeping?" Didi’s eyes widened. "Exactly," Mimi said. Cheering up, the friends decided to make something special for Lulu. They built a snowman outside her house and left a note: "We miss you, Lulu! See you in spring!" When spring arrived, Lulu woke up and stretched. She saw the melted snowman and the note. Smiling, she hopped to the pond, where Mimi and Didi were waiting. "Lulu!" they cheered, running to her.
