John Jr and Hopsi decide to have pure love from there on out. 3. John Jr and Hopsi thought of ways they could demonstrate charity. They thought up some ideas that they could do which include: Thinking and speaking kindly of others Praying for the needs of others Encouraging others to reach out to people they normally wouldn't Loving family and friends Treating others with respect and kindness Doing good things for others Praying for enemies Speaking the truth in love 4. John Jr and Hopsi decided to raise money or school supplies to help children in need of supplies for school. They selected a date and made up posters for the event to post around town. They also put a notice In the local newspaper. 6. It was the day of John Jr and Hopsi's charitable event. They set up a table with a jar for cash donations. They put out empty boxes for any supplies. Many people came by to drop off donations. The event brought in $3500 and 5 big boxes of an assortment of supplies. The supplies included backpacks, notebooks, coloring and writing supplies and glue. John Jr took everything they had received to the board of education for distribution to children in need.

He is sitting on the couch and the children are sitting next to him. He then explains that he was hurt and ended up with a traumatic brain injury which is just a fancy way of saying his brain got hurt and needed time to heal again. He explains different symptoms to the children and that even though he gets mad and sad at times that it is not their fault. He loves them very much and needs them to be strong for their mom. She learned that sometimes, even when things seem impossible, a little bit of love and determination can make a big difference.

Leif promised himself he would tell everyone about this amazing place he had discovered. When they returned home, Leif shared the story of Vinland with other Vikings. Even though he never returned to Vinland, he was proud to be the first European to find and explore it. And so, the tale of Leif Erickson and his journey across the Atlantic Ocean was told for many years.
