He cried and fell to his mom to show his bruise on his knee but he was talking too erratically for her to understand, so she guides him so he'll calm down. After he calms down and tells her what happened, she takes him to the nurse and she makes johnny tell the nurse what happened. After he did so he got a band aid and was able to play and win the scoring goal for his team
