A young Brazilian girl who travels to the United States in search of making her dreams come true and goes to live with an American family called "The Homann’s". In this family she becomes the kids Leo (boy) and Lily's (girl) best friend and lives many adventures during the year. They travel together to Italy and around the United States and spend an incredible year discovering several things together. They also shared their cultures and traditions with each others.

Oliver is a small, friendly duck who loves to swim and play at the pond with his friends. Oliver tries to avoid them, but when the geese begin picking on his best friend, a shy turtle named Timmy, Oliver decides he can’t stay quiet anymore. Though Oliver is smaller than the geese, he stands up to them by using his wits and kindness instead of fighting back. He shows the geese how their bullying behavior is hurting others and offers them a chance to join in on the fun instead of ruining it. In the end, the geese realize that being kind is much more rewarding than being mean, and they all become friends.

John explains that the butterfly should be set free, and although Sydney is reluctant, she agrees and watches as the butterfly flies away.

Mayuka and her mom went to her classroom, buzzing with her dance pals. ‘Where’s my skirt?’ ‘Miss, my hairclips are missing.’ Ka-chik, ka-chik, selfies everywhere. Mayuka got ready quickly. Her mom gave her the usual good luck kiss. The dancers waited backstage as Miss Lily announced ‘Here come the dance champs of class 4!’ The audience clapped exuberantly before and after the dance.
